One of the first and heavy-duty GWagons, which was produced for military needs and was not available for purchase by civilians.
The car was bought in 2022, for restoration. What was done: They got rid of the infamous KE-Jetronic fuel supply system (who understands, understands), an electronic control unit (invent jetronic) was installed, with new injectors, a fuel rail, etc., on which 4th generation gas is easily installed.
Further from the main one is welding work throughout the body, the frame is in great shape. New clutch, engine mounts, new alternator, replacement wiring where needed. The pads around the circumference are new.
Soundproofing of the cabin, its complete upholstery.
Replacement of optics, rear window.
A garland and strips were installed.
A very convenient roof rack was made to order.
A podium with new speakers and a new Alpine radio.
And a lot of other little things. The car is ready for use.”
