All listed prices exclude the following:
The Seller sells the Vehicle voetstoots, and, subject to what is set out below, AS IS, with no warranties whatsoever. We can, if requested, draw up an Agreement beforehand.
The Seller warrants that the Seller has the full right and authority to sell and transfer the vehicle and hereby indemnifies the Purchaser against any claim relating thereto;
The Seller warrants that the Vehicle is fully paid for and that the Vehicle is sold free of any liens and encumbrances. Should there be an outstanding amount with any bank, that amount will have to be settled first before the vehicle can be handed over to the buyer.
The Seller undertakes to sign such forms and change of ownership documentation to enable the Purchaser to transfer the Vehicle into his/her name against payment of the purchase price.
The Seller warrants that the Vehicle is roadworthy; the Purchaser however shall be responsible for the cost of the roadworthy test, unless otherwise agreed upon.
The vehicle will only be released to the buyer once the money reflects in the bank account of the seller.
WHOLE AGREEMENT
This is the whole agreement between the parties and no amendment, alteration or addition thereto shall be of any force or effect unless reduced to writing and signed by both parties.
Life & Leisure SA as Marketing Agent
- The Seller allows Life & Leisure SA to list their caravan/trailer/vehicle on our Website, Facebook pages and Social media platforms;
- Life & Leisure SA then also sends the details of the Seller’s caravan/trailer to our extensive list of Buyers;
- Once Life & Leisure SA gets a serious Buyer, we will provide them with the Seller’s detail;
- The Seller then negotiates directly with the Buyer;
- Life & Leisure SA does not add anything on the selling price and do not influence the Seller’s price in any way;
- Should our Buyer decide to buy the caravan/trailer, we only ask a 3% commission of the final selling price. If the Seller agrees on a price, that price will be the amount the commission is paid on. Life & Leisure SA does not add to the selling price. This is why we allow the Seller and Buyer to negotiate directly, because the final decision still carries commission. We don’t work with “I want in my pocket” amounts, because you as Seller make the final decision.
- Should a dealer buy the caravan/trailer, either as a “trade-in” or as an outright purchase, we ask 1% commission of the final price from the seller/owner, as agreed upon between the dealer and the seller.
- Commission of the selling price is payable by the Seller, once the Seller has received payment from the Buyer;
- We are not responsible for the condition of the purchased product, neither do we provide any guarantees; and
Should there be any problems/defects after the item has been purchased, the Seller and Buyer will have to settle it directly with each other or as agreed upon between the two parties beforehand. Life & Leisure SA is just the marketing agent.
